I enjoy music, the culinary arts, reading especially Science-fiction, new realism and comics, and history.

I have been in Uruguay since 2018. I have been teaching English worldwide since 2003, and I have taught in China, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Morocco, Poland, UK, Thailand, Spain and now in Uruguay. What I love most about Montevideo and Uruguay is the people are very laid back, friendly, intelligent and progressive. Also, there is a variety of different cultures especially music and the arts, and I can’t forget football which is a passion I share with most Uruguayans. Montevideo is also a very relaxed place to live.

I teach exam preparation including IELTS, TOEFL, CPE, CAE, FCE, also business English, and general conversational English. I hope my English classes are beneficial, instructive, interesting and enjoyable with lots of possiblities to practise communicative skills. I look forward to working with you!

Nací en Taiwán, pero ya hace tiempo que vivo en Uruguay.
Lo que mas valoro de su enseñanza es que el aprendizaje es de ambos lados. Me encanta cuando comparto algunos #funfacts de la cultura china y me responden que en Uruguay también pasa algo parecido; pero me parece más interesante aun cuando son costumbres totalmente opuestas o diferentes, porque esas “diferencias” expanden nuestra visión del mundo y nos hacen más abiertos y receptivos. Estas son algunas de las muchas cualidades que se pueden mejorar cuando entramos en contacto con un idioma nuevo como el Chino Mandarín.

 I am a very fun, open-minded, and productive person. I love turning problems into solutions. I am a fan of reading and good movies, like The Lord of the Rings.

In the past, my hobbies were music and poetry, but nowadays my hobbies are baking bread and gardening.

I am from Venezuela and I have been living in the amazing country of Uruguay for almost 8 years now, I am 30 years old and I have been teaching English since I was 16 years old.

I have been working at IH for years and it’s been an enriching experience both personally and professionally.
I like doing sports, reading, and spending time at home with my cat, I also enjoy traveling and having a good laugh.
What I like the most about Uruguay is its people and its culture, strong values, and extraordinary people always willing to help.
My English classes are dynamic and fun, and I always try to use real-life examples for students to be able to use the information in everyday life.

We´ll learn about English structures, everyday language, fun ways to implement words, and many more things. I look forward to working with you!

I love teaching and try to provide a friendly atmosphere, so students feel comfortable and not afraid of making mistakes. It is important to give my students all the necessary support to achieve their goals. I consider myself patient, strict but flexible at the same time. I am extremely responsible and love working with people. I have worked with students from all different levels and nationalities.

I also have a background in accounting and tourism. I love my country and work as a tour guide during the summer season. English and tourism are both my passion and both careers are related as I can work with people and give the best of my knowledge to them.

I'm a Fulbright alumni having been part of the board of the Uruguayan Alumni Association for 5 years. I've created an exchange program together with a colleague from Minnesota. I do love my profession, which gives me the chance to help people to become more fluent in the foreign language.

I’m 26 years old and have been teaching for over 4 years now. I am pretty new to teaching, but my years as a student of Spanish and now Portuguese have given me so much insight into the best ways to learn a second language! My classes are based around conversation and practical uses of language.

I love to use music, videos, current events, debate and humor to engage my students and make their learning as relevant to the real world as possible. I encourage a dynamic classroom environment where students are the protagonists in their own educational journey. And, most importantly, I want to make learning English fun and interesting for my students!

Aside from teaching, I enjoy a relaxed life in Montevideo. You can find me having a mate on the Rambla, making sculptures in my ceramics workshop, or browsing the ferias around the city.

Insegno italiano a principianti e studenti di livello avanzato. Viaggio molto per il mio lavoro di antropologo e agronomo, assistendo le comunità rurali a migliorare l’organizzazione e il commercio della produzione agricola. Studio la cultura delle società rurali e le lingue come strumento di comunicazione e cultura. Sport, fotografia, montagna sono le mie passioni.

El francés es mi segunda lengua ya que lo estudié desde los 5 años y amo transmitir mis conocimientos tanto de español, mi lengua nativa, como de francés.

Poseo muchos años de experiencia dedicada a la docencia y me considero una apasionada por esta hermosa profesión que es enseñar. Me caracterizo por el compromiso diario con mi profesión, atiendo las necesidades de cada uno de mis estudiantes, soy creativa, responsable y flexible.

He dado clases de coreano desde hace 10 años tanto en institutos privados como personalizados de manera presencial y virtual.

He dado clases en varios países lo cual se traduce en experiencia con diferentes estudiantes de todo el mundo como Canadá, Estados unidos, España, México, Colombia, Perú, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina y Uruguay.

Todos mis estudiantes han tenido un aprendizaje completo y satisfactorio ya que la metodología que sigo tiene un orden de nivel básico, intermedio y avanzado con ejercicios de escritura, habla y escucha, tareas y repaso suficiente en cada nivel antes de avanzar para no dejar ningún detalle atrás.

Las clases son dinámicas con alta participación de parte del estudiante y siempre contiene el siguiente esquema: gramática - ejercicios - vocabulario - práctica – tareas o actividades de cada clase.

I have been teaching English for some years now. During my classes, I always try to be dynamic, consider my students' needs. As a teacher, I think that being there when the student needs you is one of the most important parts of teaching. I really enjoy listening to what my students have to share, and taking care of that space

I speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I've lived abroad in the past, and I would definitely do it again.

I also really like soccer. I love languages, I can also speak German and now I'm studying Korean so I understand the challenges of learning a new one!

I've been teaching online for a while now and I love it. I'm creative, curious and enthusiastic. I always try to motivate students to continue their studies.

I have a background in Medicine and Nutrition, however, while at the University I discovered my passion for teaching. I quit both careers and dedicated myself to pursue a training degree in teaching. So far, it is the best decision I have ever made and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

My main goal as a teacher is to help my learners communicate in English through motivating and entertaining lessons and give them the necessary tools to improve their skills while having fun.

I am highly passionate about learning other languages and travelling around the world. I am a vegetarian, an animal lover and a self-taught baker.

Es mi sexto año trabajando en el ámbito de la educación en lenguas extranjeras en el departamento de inglés con todas las edades.

Trabajo dando tutorías privadas online que ofrece IH, en Ceibal en inglés y Tutorías de Inglés online en UTEC.

Además soy estudiante de la UDELAR en la Licenciatura en Diseño y Comunicación Visual.

Amo lo que hago y en estos años he trabajado con todos los niveles. Lo que más me gusta es dictar clases a adultos, e intento que sean lo más dinámicas y entretenidas posibles.

He lived and studied in London for more than 2 years. He has worked in many Educational and Global Companies around the globe, having a solid background in multicultural awareness in teaching /coaching and training. He has vast experience in teaching and learning ranging from f2f teaching interaction to being an expert on Virtual, eLearning approaches and methods.

He has been a speaker in Uruguay, Paraguay, and the Middle East to name a few. He currently works as a teacher trainer and tutor at Universidad Tecnologica del Uruguay, UTEC, and Ceibal Maestros and as an academic consultant for Wealth Care, Washington DC. Being shortlisted for the Best Dedicated Teacher Award, 2022 by Cambridge University. He believes teaching is passion and electricity on the very bones of every teacher around the globe.

Tenho mestrado na área de Linguística e ministro as disciplinas de Didática e Metodologia de Ple no professorado de português. Adoro trabalhar com a elaboração de materiais didáticos e ensino da cultura brasileira. Além disso, gosto muito de samba e dos intrumentos musicais que o acompanham.

Comecei a dar aulas aos 21 anos e não parei mais! :) Sou formada em Letras e tenho mestrado em Teoria Literária. Adoro ler, escrever e narrar histórias. Também gosto muito de dançar e praticar yoga.

Sou formada em letras português e inglês, trabalho na área de formação de professores e aplicação de exames internacionais. Também sou coautora do Livro Inovação de português para estrangeiros.

Sou comunicativo e com altas habilidades para tomar decisões. Possuo formação em Letras e Pedagogia, além de Comércio Exterior. Atualmente gerencio projetos educacionais internacionais.
