Making communication happen
It’s been more than half a century since interaction became a buzzword in linguistics and almost a similar lapse time in the field of ELT.
However, how much have we understood about Communicative Language Teaching as an approach to foreign language instruction?
What makes a lesson to be communicative? What teacher’s actions lead to teaching communicative lessons, and which ones deter them from it?
In this theoretical-practical presentation, we will cast light on understanding what teaching communicatively really entails.
I shall provide you with some top tips to consider and reflect upon to make your courses more communicative and student-centred.
