Abstract
What impact does our teaching have on our learners? How important is it that we can answer this question? John Hattie claims that “virtually everything” works in education and argues that schools that truly make a difference in student learning are those that have “visible learning inside”. What does this mean and what are its implications for schools, teachers, and learners? Come and join us to explore together the answers to these questions as well as some practical ideas to “make learning visible” in the English classroom.
